Require entries: Art of the State 2016
ARVADA – The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities revealed Art of the State 2016, a juried exhibit of Colorado. As a follow-up to the 2013 award-winning exhibit, Art of the State 2016 will certainly highlight the quality, depth and variety of Colorado artists.
All 3 of the Arvada Centers galleries will certainly be dedicated to this exhibition. This exhibition will certainly be juried by Gwen Chanzit, (contemporary art curator, Denver Art Museum), Michael Chavez, (public art program manager, Denver Arts Venues) and Collin Parson, (exhibition supervisor and curator, Arvada Center).
This juried exhibit is open to all Colorado artists over the age of 18 in all media. Artworks submitted should be offered for sale, initial, and created in the last two years. Framed works can not exceed 6 feet in any instructions, and any wall work can not weigh over 100 lbs. Sculpture can not exceed 8 feet in any direction. No work will be allowed that has actually been shown at the Air Conditioning previously.The due date for
